What to order
- The Charlie. Chocolate cupcake, a peanut butter cup in the center, peanut butter buttercream, ganache. That is the one the owner names from the first day.The Charlie is the cupcake regulars ask for by name: rich chocolate with a peanut butter cup baked right into the middle.
Before you go
It isn't a vegan bakery or a gluten-free one. Two cupcakes are labeled "Vegan & Wheat Free" (vanilla with vanilla frosting, and chocolate with vanilla frosting, original size only), and the cake menu has vegan vanilla and vegan chocolate. Wheat-free isn't the same as gluten-free, so this guide doesn't list them that way. Flavors change daily, so call ahead. Orders are by phone or in person, not by email. The Portland shop has moved east on Woodstock to 87th.
