I made PortlandBread because I wanted one calm place to look before I left the house. Not a ranking. Not a cart. The bakery, the neighborhood, what to order, and whether the kitchen is actually safe for the people who need it to be.
Portland, because if this city doesn't love it, no other city gets a version. Bread, because that's the errand — the loaf, the croissant, the window that opens Saturday at eight.
There are no ads here, and lists are not for sale. If a bakery is on a list, it is because we would send you there. Paid, when it exists, will say paid.
We don't take the order. We send you to the shop.
